At She Plans Travel, not only do we stay up to date with current policies and procedures, but we travel frequently for resort inspections and training, as well as building relationships in destination to create seamless vacations for our clients.
Renee Cross
As Walt Disney said, "it all started with a mouse."
For Renee, it was one Disney vacation and she was hooked! After countless trips to the Mouse, she knew she wanted to make vacation magic happen for others. She has since discovered a love of the Mexican Caribbean and European river cruises! With over a decade in the travel industry, Renee prides herself on curating bucket-list vacations for her clients, obsessing over them from start to finish.
Susanna Carlton
Susie has loved traveling her entire life. In 2017, she decided to leave the corporate world behind and stay home with her twin boys. Without the demands of an office job, Susie started planning more trips for her family. She quickly realized she could turn her passion into a career. So, in 2019, she decided to make it official and become a travel agent. Susie specializes in full-service Walt Disney World planning, family and multi-generational travel, and Europe.
Joan Oegema
Joanie specializes in vacations to Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, and cruise travel. Before entering the travel industry, Joanie spent 18 years managing elementary school libraries, where she developed a passion for helping others learn, explore, and discover new possibilities.
After retiring from the school system, she began working at a travel agency in Muskegon, Mi, where she spent 10 years helping clients plan memorable vacations. She later joined She Plans Travel Co, bringing with her years of industry experience and a strong commitment to personalized service.
Joanie has firsthand travel experience throughout Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, St. Martin, Alaska and Hawaii along with many cruise destinations. Since becoming a travel advisor, she has sailed on 14 cruises, giving her valuable insight into cruise lines, ships, and ports around the Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii and the South Pacific
Merideth Wilson
With over a decade of experience in the travel industry, Merideth is a seasoned travel agent dedicated to crafting unforgettable vacations for every type of traveler. Specializing in theme park adventures and tropical getaways, she brings expert knowledge and personalized service to every itinerary.
From the magic of Disney and the thrills of Universal Studios to the marine wonders of SeaWorld, Merideth helps families and enthusiasts make the most of their theme park experiences. Beyond the parks, Merideth is also an expert in cruise travel, offering guidance across all major cruise lines to ensure smooth sailing from start to finish.
Whether it’s a relaxing escape to the Caribbean, an all-inclusive retreat in Mexico, or a fun-filled family vacation, Merideth combines insider expertise with a passion for travel to create seamless, stress-free journeys. Every trip is designed with care, ensuring clients return home with lasting memories and a desire to explore even more.
Jenna Rotter
A life long traveler, Jenna has traveled independently throughout Europe for months at a time. She studied and traveled in Australia for four months, followed by one month of study and travel through New Zealand.
With her existing foundation in travel, Jenna worked for over 15 years with for ACIS and Worldstrides selling and leading all international educational group travel programs, ensuring each guest’s comfort and safety. Personal travel to Iceland, continental Europe, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Bahamas, Mexico, Belize, Cayman Islands plus a fair bit in the US, solidifies Jenna’s travel expertise and ability. Jenna looks forward to introducing others to the beauty and wonder of travel.
Kimberly Swegles
Kimberly is a Michigan-based travel specialist and proud mom, living with her daughter and their beagle. Kimberly specializes in planning unforgettable theme park vacations in Florida and California, with a focus on Disney and Universal destinations, as well as Disney and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
When not helping families plan their dream getaways, you’ll find her cheering on her daughter at her sporting events, or spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Kimberly truly loves what she does—helping families make the most of their vacations and create memories that last a lifetime!
Mindi Johnson
For more than 25 years, Mindi has explored the world. Travel has taken her across the Mediterranean, through Northern Europe, and to every island in the Caribbean. Mindi has fallen in love with the rhythm of international travel, the ease and excitement of cruising, and the way each destination leaves its own imprint. And while she adores discovering new corners of the globe, Maui will always hold a special place in her heart as her favorite U.S. getaway.
Mindi turned her lifelong passion into her profession and began her journey as a travel advisor with She Plans Travel Co. The goal: to help others fall in love with travel. Whether it’s a first-time cruiser, a family seeking the perfect island escape, or a seasoned traveler ready for their next big adventure, Mindi loves crafting experiences that feel personal, effortless, and unforgettable.
Outside of travel planning, Mindi is a pediatric nurse manager, a dedicated baker, and an avid reader—roles that have taught her patience, creativity, attention to detail, and the joy of caring for others. Those same qualities shape the way Mindi supports her clients, ensuring every trip is thoughtfully designed and stress-free from start to finish.
